This is the best measure of professional experience (and the most satisfying part of the job).
I appreciate Rachel’s flexibility with helping me to juggle a lot of projects. She made things more creative and more inviting to the public.
Rachel has the ability to see what we can’t see and to bring that to life on so many levels. There have been so many times when I’ve given her chicken scratch and said, ‘I want it to feel like this,’ and bippity-boppity-boo, she has turned it into something that communicates well and captures the feel I want.
Rachel carefully crafts pages, using words wisely and noting each colon and comma. It is her language of love.
When Rachel worked for our organization, I had full confidence that whatever document I gave her would be thoroughly checked and any mistakes corrected. Since I had at least one major article to publish each week, along with several substantial booklets and event guides each year, it was comforting for me to know that Rachel had my back. She has a great sense of layout, is the queen of the proper font, and knows more about punctuation than many school teachers. Knowing she would be reviewing anything I sent for publication gave me a great sense of peace and freed me to be able to focus on the craft of writing without stressing on the details.
I really appreciate Rachel’s patience and her ability to say, ‘No, that may not work, but let’s try this instead.’ She has been a great support to me.
